In the summer of 1965, on Bainbridge Island, Washington, three friends, Joel Pritchard, William Bell, and Barney McCallum, invented the game of pickleball to entertain their families. The sport quickly caught on, and Barney McCallum began making wood paddles in his basement to supply local players. Shortly after that, He incorporated Pickle-Ball, and we've been leading the industry in manufacturing and supplying quality pickleball paddles, balls and nets ever since.
